Purchased in 1990 by the Verdin family, the eight-story Pendleton Art Center warehouse in Cincinnati houses more than 200 artists across every medium. PAC also includes the adjacent 510 Gallery Studios, Cafe Studios, and Annex Building Studios. Our second location is in Middletown, Ohio on Central Avenue downtown. Both locations open their studios to the public every month on Final Friday in Cincinnati and First Friday in Middletown.

Origins

The Verdin Family Legacy

The eight-story PAC warehouse was erected in 1909 as a shoe-manufacturing facility, used later by Shillito's Department Store, then acquired in 1991 by The Verdin Company — the world's largest bell and clock manufacturer. Their support of local artists turned it into what we are today.
