The medium of cold wax and encaustic can embellish the draw of oil in a painting and when combined with landscape it becomes a means to connect with the natural world. I am at heart a naturalist, wanting to make a connection to outdoors. Through the medium of oil, wax, and watercolor I hope to inspire others to do the same.
