Artist Statement
\n“ Painting is an evolutionary search. It is at once intuitive, emotional and spontaneous. It is a mysterious, psychological process to which I am drawn, always striving to unravel the enigmatic characteristics of the paint. The solution will never be found, but the search is necessary, enjoyable and fulfilling. “

MOMENTUM
\nBrush a swath of paint, swish on a wash, draw a line with charcoal, anything to break the intimidation of a blank canvas. Keep going. Don’t think. Just do. Listen to your instincts, accept the risk, and trust the outcome. Leap off the ledge of hesitation. Surrender to the spontaneity, energy, and emotion. Enjoy the process. Now you possess “ MOMENTUM”, the impetus to create from your soul.
